Last night Vondom celebrated a great cause by collaborating with M. Moser Associates to help make design come to life benefiting DIFFA (Design Industries Foundation Fighting Aids) at the 20th Anniversary of Dining by Design at Pier 92 in NYC presented with the annual Architectural Digest Show.
M. Moser examines the contrast between past stereotypes and current data around HIV/Aids. Their installation uses materiality and technology to evoke visceral human connection, exploring a dark look into the past and an illuminated vision of the future.
ADAN Illuminated Planters & FAZ Chairs with Polycarbonate Legs provide the foundation for the firms design and is accented by an Acrylic Table top, simplistic place settings and mannequin art by world renowned artist Scooter LaForge. “The internal subcutaneous battle finally rises from the dark sporadic past into a resplendent, persistent, hopeful future.” Though this collaboration we are happy to help make a “DIFFArence” in the fight for world HIV & AIDS while simultaneously celebrating design, community and family.
