Established at the Azotea del Circulo de Bellas Artes, one of Europe’s leading art centers, “La Azotea de Círculo” is a unique culinary space in a well-to-do location famous for being one of the best look-out spots of the capital of Madrid. Stefano Giovanonni’s illuminated PILLOW tables add to the visual aesthetic of the space. At night, the terrace’s lighting transitions to a more subdued glow, allowing the city’s skyline to take center stage as the views focal point.
The decorative scheme is with respects to the architecture and the spectacular views of Madrid. To do the study, Cuarto Interior has created a temporary project, simply “just landed” in the building and designed to enhance the views without being intrusive. The furniture, vintage and industrial, is ready for visitors, never facing back towards the city’s view. The lanterns and tables are lit by Vondom and contribute to the visual enjoyment of the space.
