This shopping centre is considered one of the most important in Latin America for its large area and privileged location in the area of greatest economic growth in the municipality of Naucalpan de Juárez, Mexico. Since the construction of the shopping centre, important housing, office and commercial projects have also been executed in the vicinity.
Opened in 1971, the project was created by architect Juan Sordo Madaleno. Since then, continuous improvements have been made to adapt and modernise the complex. The most recent of these was carried out in 2019, consisting of the construction of a third floor to house cinemas and a fast food restaurant area known as “La Canasta”. This is the area that is home to the chairs and stools of the Faz collection, designed by Ramón Esteve. The objective is to create a contrasting area of minimalist and modern design that unifies the environment, creating an enjoyable atmosphere.
