We present Vondom's latest developments at the renowned Maison & Objet design fair 2020.
Paris is considered by many to be the city of a thousand faces. The reasons are obvious: the French capital is at the centre of the fashion world, it is home to the avant-garde and the origin of countless love stories. But most of all, it is the epitome of international elegance. It is therefore fitting that the city hosted again Maison & Objet, the interiors and design fair which this year is celebrating its 25th birthday in the company of the leading professionals from the sector.
This latest edition took place from the 17th to the 21st of January and welcomed more than 3,500 exhibitors, 90,000 visitors and 3,000 international journalists to a space covering 260,000 square metres. It was the perfect opportunity to get the full story behind the latest trends in the sector.
The premise of this year’s edition is based on the future and the roads which design is moving along. The goal is to understand the ways in which the consumer lifestyle is being revolutionised, the trends which are leading the sector to take more heed of concepts such as sustainability, which has taken on more significance than ever.
At Vondom, we share this futuristic and innovative vision which is why we took part in the fair at the stand K84-M83 in Hall 6, located in the “Today” section, the part of the convention which focuses on the newest and most original projects.
We took the opportunity to exhibit the designs which set us apart, in addition to presenting new projects such as Revolution, which represents our commitment to sustainability based on the creation of pieces using recycled plastic from the Mediterranean Sea. We also presented new features, such as surfaces with dekton finishes and the addition of wooden legs to our Faz chairs, among other things.
In short, this was again a design showcase event!
