Vondom at Salone del Mobile 2026 | Exclusive First Look

21/04/2026

Vondom at Salone del Mobile 2026 — Hall 24 · Stand D20.

Today, we open the doors to our space in Milan. And the first thing you’ll notice is not what we’ve put in, but what we’ve taken out.
The stand breathes. It steps back and lets the product lead. Color isn’t in the architecture — it’s where it belongs: in the pieces, in the fabrics, in the solid wood, in the curves of the polyethylene that has been defining us for decades. This is a space that doesn’t compete with what it holds. It embraces it.
And what it holds is a dialogue between seven premium outdoor furniture collections and three very distinct creative visions. Designers who don’t decorate spaces — they think them.

Seven collections, three creative visions

But before we get into that dialogue, there’s something about the way it feels when you arrive. Because the welcome is warm. Literally. Solid teak, living grain, the quiet confidence of something that seems to have always been there. Fusta, by Ramón Esteve, is our way of saying that a brand built on polyethylene innovation can embrace a noble material without losing an ounce of coherence — quite the opposite. The same technical rigor, the same obsession with detail, applied to wood. Nordic restraint and Mediterranean light in every piece. It’s an expansion of vocabulary, not a change of language.

From that welcome, the stand opens into a broader territory. A place where formal research and emotion coexist, where materials engineering meets that hard-to-name quality that makes a space feel right before you understand why. The sculptural forms of Mel, also by Esteve, take polyethylene to an almost organic place — enveloping curves, instant identity, pieces you recognize from across the room that prove an industrial process can produce something with soul. Alongside them, Gum — also by Esteve — works from restraint: a single continuous tubular line that draws the precise gesture needed to support and embrace, not a millimeter more, while upholstery and geometric tables bring a warmth that balances the entire composition.

The scale shifts with Pasadena, by Jean-Marie Massaud. Architectural proportions, generous, with that quality certain well-designed spaces have: the feeling that there’s room to spare and nothing to spare. A modular system conceived for composing — from the reading corner of a villa to the lounge of a hotel — without ever losing formal coherence.

nd if Pasadena works from amplitude, Serra, also by Massaud, works from tension: braided rope wraps and holds, the interior yields and welcomes, and in that resolved balance, something emerges that only exists when design has truly understood how a body rests outdoors.

Then, everything distils. Africa, by Eugeni Quitllet, has the lightness of a definitive sketch — the stroke that needs no correction because it already contains everything. Chairs, lounge chairs, and sofas are equally at home on a high-traffic hotel terrace and in a private garden among olive trees. Quitllet simplifies until what remains is only form, only proportion, only character. Without giving up a thing.

And when evening falls — because the outdoors has its night too, and no one should forget it — the Luna, lamps, by Ramón Esteve, complete the narrative with organic volumes and warm light that turn any garden into a place where the conversation lingers one more hour.
Seven collections. Three visions. One shared conviction: the outdoors deserves the same creative ambition, the same technical depth, and the same intelligence as any interior space.

What to discover at Vondom at Salone del Mobile 2026

Everything you’ll find at our stand shares something invisible yet unmistakable. The designs originate in Paris, in New York, in Valencia — the standards are the same. Whoever designs understands the limits of the material. Whoever engineers the product understands the intention of the design. The obsession with detail doesn’t get lost at any link in the chain. And you can feel it. In how a joint meets. In how a fabric falls. In how an entire collection feels inevitable, as though it couldn’t have been any other way. That doesn’t happen by chance. It’s built over years. And it shows at Vondom at Salone del Mobile 2026.
